If you are searching for a new companion to join your family, then you're in luck! On the average day, The Happy Little Rescue is home to over 50 adoptable pets. We believe that there is a perfect home out there for each of our temporary residents, and no matter how long it takes we strive to help them find it. Our mission is to ensure that each of the animals in our care live a happy and healthy life while awaiting their forever home.

Benny
Benny is a sweet 8-month-old Retriever mix with a gentle and shy demeanor when first meeting new people, but once he warms up, he transforms into a playful bundle of joy. His shy nature gives way to a loving, affectionate side as he gains trust, and he quickly becomes a loyal companion. Benny loves to play, explore, and snuggle up with his favorite humans. Lonnie

Lonnie, the 1-year-old Pitbull Chihuahua mix, is a true fan favorite in the Rent-a-Rescue program. Her loving and adventurous spirit makes her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal sidekick. Whether it's exploring new places or curling up for a cozy nap, Lonnie is always ready to go. She adores children and is incredibly gentle with them, making her a great family dog. While she can be a little resource-guarding with other dogs, Lonnie's sweetness and intelligence shine through in everything she does. With her food motivation and sharp mind, she picks up new tricks quickly and is always eager to please.
Oreo
Oreo is a lovable 1-year-old cattle shepherd mix with a playful and intelligent personality. While she can be a little shy around new people at first, her affectionate and loyal nature shines through once she feels comfortable. She loves staying active, whether it's running, playing, or learning new tricks, and thrives in environments that offer mental and physical stimulation. With a little patience and time, Oreo warms up quickly and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. Meelo
Meelo is a handsome 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a loyal and affectionate personality. True to his breed, he is protective and devoted to his people, making him a wonderful companion for a home looking for a loving yet independent dog. Meelo enjoys outdoor adventures and would thrive in an active household where he can stretch his legs on hikes or long walks. However, he does best as the only male dog in the home and is not suited for a household with small animals. With proper guidance and a patient owner, Meelo will be a steadfast and loving best friend.
Chloe & Lola
Chloe and Lola are two beautiful 1-year-old Great Pyrenees sisters who have overcome a tough journey to find safety and love. These sweet girls were on the brink of being euthanized after they struggled to adjust when separated, but now that they are safe and happy at the rescue, they are thriving together. Chloe and Lola are looking for their forever home where they can stay by each other's side, as they’ve built a strong bond. While they may chase livestock and have a taste for chickens, they’re wonderful with other dogs and people, and their gentle nature makes them loving companions. These sisters are ready to share their love and loyalty with a family who will embrace them as the inseparable duo they are!
Natalie

Tilly

Tilly is a 1-year-old Bulldog Pitbull mix with a heart full of sweetness and a love for everyone she meets. She gets along wonderfully with other animals and people, making her an affectionate and gentle companion. Unfortunately, shortly after arriving with us, Tilly had an accident and tore her ACL, which has led to her being on much-needed bed rest and limited her adventures with volunteers. Due to this injury, Tilly would thrive in a home with minimal stairs, as walking up and down them is difficult for her. She has already undergone laser therapy to help with her recovery, and she’s looking for a loving family who is ready to manage her medical needs and offer her the calm, comfortable environment she deserves while she heals. Despite her current limitations, Tilly’s loving and friendly nature shines through, and she is sure to be a devoted and sweet companion for the right home
